About Us

Cognitive by TAP
Cognitive by TAP is a purpose-built learning centre by The Art People (TAP), designed to support neurodiverse learners, with a focus on post-18 young adults preparing for adulthood, independence, and community life. We also welcome learners from age 14 onwards, providing a safe and nurturing bridge from adolescence into adulthood.
At Cognitive by TAP, learning goes beyond classrooms. Our programs integrate wellness, functional movement, creative expression, social-emotional skills and community engagement to empower every learner to Think. Create. Thrive.
The Art People
The Art People (T.A.P) is a creative education centre founded to nurture imagination, confidence, and skills in children through the power of art. For over a decade, T.A.P has inspired thousands of young learners with award-winning programs that blend creativity, innovation, and structured learning.
Today, T.A.P continues to grow as a trusted name in art education, building not only artistic ability but also problem-solving, resilience, and a lifelong love for creativity.
T.A.P is also a multiple award-winning training centre.

Our Tagline: Think. Create. Thrive.

Think
Learning begins with the mind. Whether through movement, art, or community experiences, learners are constantly engaging their thinking skills — planning, problem-solving, focusing, and making decisions.
Movement builds executive function and self-regulation; art sharpens observation, reasoning, and creativity; and community life strengthens social thinking and awareness. Together, they form the foundation of a more confident and capable learner.

Create
Creation is both expression and growth. Our learners create art, but also create new thinking pathways, new habits, and new opportunities for themselves.
Every drawing, every exercise, every community interaction is a chance to build something meaningful — whether it’s a piece of artwork, a personal achievement, or a stronger relationship. Creation transforms potential into possibility.

Thrive
Ultimately, our goal is for learners not just to improve, but to thrive in every aspect of life. With stronger thinking skills and creative pathways, they grow in independence, resilience, and confidence.
Thriving means taking part in community, discovering joy in movement, expressing themselves through art, and building a future where they can live with dignity, purpose, and belonging.
